18 U.S.C. § 2257 Exemption Statement

The statement

Asia Escort Directory is an advertising directory. All content on it is either text, or photographs supplied by the adult individuals they depict for the purpose of advertising their own services.

The site does not produce, and does not host, visual depictions of actual sexually explicit conduct as that phrase is defined in 18 U.S.C. § 2256(2). On that basis the record-keeping and labelling requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 do not apply to the operator of this site.

With respect to any image to which those requirements might apply, the operator acts only as a provider of a service under 47 U.S.C. § 230(c) and is not the producer, primary or secondary, of any content appearing here.

What we require instead

Everyone who publishes here confirms that they are 18 or over, that every person shown in a photograph they upload is 18 or over, and that each of them agreed to it. That confirmation is a condition of publishing, and it is the ground on which a listing is removed if it turns out to be untrue.

Custodian of records

The name and address of the custodian are held by the operator of this site and are not yet published here. They belong on this page before launch, and this paragraph stands in their place rather than a placeholder that would read like a fact.

Reporting

If you believe an image here shows a minor, or shows anybody who did not agree to it, use the removals page. Those reports go to the front of the queue and the material comes down while we look at it, not after.
